Even though this role gained the actress immense popularity however, she was concerned that her limited acting skills could be hindered due to being portrayed in the Mary Camden image. In order to break this image, she was partially dressed for the cover picture for Gear magazine. Jessica's followers were outraged over the sexy move. Jessica resigned from the television series 7th Heaven in season six. Her fame was instantly boosted by her outstanding acting performance as teenage Casey Jackson in Ulee's Gold. The film even awarded her the title of Best Supporting Young Actress for this movie. Summer Catch, the comedy film in which she stars has proven her impressive acting abilities. Although she delivered a stellar acting performance in the film, Rules of Attraction didn't get much notice. Then her performance in the horror film The Texas Chainshaw Massacre caught public's attention. Additionally, she's worked on suspense and thriller films.
