Lita Rossana Ford is an American writer, performer and guitarist hailing from the British Isles. She was the guitarist of the all-girl group The Runaways in the 1970s. Although the band did not make much progress in the US however, they became extremely popular in other countries. This was especially true in Japan. It was 1988 when she released her smashing success album 'Lita.' the single "Kiss Me Deadly" and the ballad "Close My Eyes Forever" were both big hits. However, the success of her music was short-lived after which she was absent from the industry for several years. Then she returned with the release of "Black" in 1995 followed by 'Wicked wonderland' 15 years later. The latest album she released, Time Capsule was released in the year 2016. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
