Dina Meyer is an New York native who was born within Forest Hills Queens. She relocated from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her high school junior year. She is the younger sister of Gregory as well as an older brother named Evan. Her first exposure to the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling from ages nine to 16. The beginning of her acting career was in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied the techniques of Sanford Meisner alongside Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the other actors to receive this kind of education. Her first acting role came with Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. Soon after, she scored the lead in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts, establishing herself as an athlete. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to secure a regular spot in the show Friends.
